Waxflower Vodka

Tiny Bear Waxflower Vodka is a unique and distinctive spirit made through a multi-step process. The process begins by fermenting a mixture of kale, water, sugar, and yeast. We use kale to provide nutrition to the yeast in the fermentation process. This creates a higher-quality alcohol in the kale wine. The kale wine is then distilled. Distillation involves heating the liquid to separate the alcohol from the other components, such as water and impurities. This process results in the production of a neutral spirit, similar to vodka. The neutral spirit is essentially a high-proof, colourless alcohol. The distinctive element of Tiny Bear Waxflower Vodka is the infusion of native Australian Wax Flower. This step involves adding the Wax Flower to the distilled neutral spirit and allowing it to steep. The natural flavours and aromas of the Wax Flower are infused into the spirit, imparting a unique and regional botanical character to the vodka.

WAXFLOWER FIZZ

For a Waxflower Fizz, combine 60ml Tiny Bear Waxflower Vodka, 30ml fresh lemon juice, and 15ml simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into a glass with ice. Top with 60-90ml club soda or sparkling water, and stir gently. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
